As you may have heard, or seen, last night’s moon was the largest one of the year.  This very exciting for a photographer with a new tripod that happens to be going camping at a lake that very weekend 🙂 After a surprise rainstorm during my nap in the hammock, followed by very cloudy skies which cleared up around 8pm, just to get cloudy again when the moon should be breaking the treeline… I was convinced that we weren’t going to see it.  But then there it was in it’s gorgeous orange glow!

  1. Nice series! Really like the 1st one…. with the orange glow and clouds it could almost be a sinister pumpkin rising from it’s patch…

Any thoughts?
